I used the autocad file I had previously for the basic outline of the house. I copied the walls and the placement of appliances. As I added everything into revit, I made changes to improve the drawing. For instance, I used up the extra foyer space by adding a foyer closet. The porch was too short, so I extended it another three feet. Then I placed the flooring.
